Inclusion Philosophy

My name is Vanessa Jessett, and I’m a disability inclusion consultant, trainer, and facilitator who believes inclusion isn’t an optional extra; it’s the foundation of dignity, equity, and belonging. My work is grounded in lived experience, cultural safety, and evidence‑informed practice, helping organisations create environments where people feel welcome, respected, and able to participate fully.

I support teams and organisations to design with inclusion at the centre, removing barriers rather than creating them, so people with disability and those with different communication or learning needs can access information, contribute their voices, and feel safe. My approach is practical, human‑centred, and shaped by the belief that every interaction is an opportunity to build trust and connection.

Inclusion matters because people matter. Every person brings their own story, identity, culture, and strengths. When we design for diversity, we create spaces where everyone belongs.
